As humans, we have an ethic obligation to help those in need. Unfortunately, the hurricane Harvey has left terrible consequences so individuals, organizations, volunteers, etc. have been trying to do their best to assist the people who were affected by this natural disaster. Sadly, there has been one amazing act of kindness that was less known because no media has covered it.
The Nguyen Brothers’ Act of Kindness
Keith Nguyen, Phe’s son, shared his father’s and uncle’s kindness with the rest of the world on Facebook. Namely, they were giving free dinner to individuals who were affected by the hurricane and those who were helping.
In his post on social media, Keith wrote that his father and uncle have a restaurant in Southeast Texas and they were also struck by the hurricane. Together with the staff and other volunteers, they were able to make more than 1000 dinners for all affected people, as well as for volunteers and specialists on call.
His post had more than 244,000 shares on Facebook and more than 8,500 shares on a Facebook page under the name Love What Matters.
