Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Flipboard 0 International Tweeters rejoice. Twitter announced the launch of service in five new languages today. Simplified and traditional Chinese, Hindi, Tagalog and Malay will all be added to the Twitter language family. Twitter is now up to 17 languages and hopes to increase this number as the year goes on. Currently, Twitter predominately relies on volunteers for translation. You can join this team by visiting the Twitter translation center. Next up on the agenda? Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Hungarian and Polish.
